Due to the popularity of the movie Avatar, a lot of people are turning themselves blue this Halloween.

Before putting on that blue make-up, read this warning from the Cosmetics, Toiletries and Perfurmery Association (CTPA): severe reactions to the wrong kind of make up can have fatal consequences.

Chris Flower from the CTPA said:

"It's important to properly check the product out before using it to cover your skin. Under the cosmetics directive, products have to be safe when used in normal and anticipated circumstances.

But there are always going to be exceptions and individuals will react differently to a product, so it's important to read the instructions. People who have latex allergies, or even those who are generally suseptable to allergies should take real care".

So do choose your blue make-up or paint product before going Avatar this Halloween.
