Study Shows Anti Wrinkle Creams Not Much Help

Consumer Report ShopSmart did a study on whether anti wrinkle creams actually do away with wrinkles. The company tested 8 anti wrinkle creams within a range of $8 to $80. The study was done on 79 people and over a period of 12 weeks. The application of two anti wrinkle creams was done on either side of the face in the morning and a before and after photograph was taken.
It was observed that even though the anti wrinkle creams smelt good they did not do much in removing fine lines and wrinkles. The anti wrinkle creams used included Loreal, Lancombe, Equate from Walmart and Garnier to name a few. The result of Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra lift was a little better than the others as it was a little beneficial to 50% of the people experimented on. Consumer Report suggests staying away from the sun and using sun screen are the best ways of avoiding wrinkles.
