A recent survey, conducted by the Transform group of cosmetic surgery clinics indicates that women spend more than 24,000 pounds on wrinkle-banishing creams and treatments over the course of their lifetime. The results showed that this figure actually exceeds their annual average pay packet, which is less than 20,000 pounds. In spite of spending so much on anti-aging and wrinkle creams, most of the respondents admit that they are unhappy with the results of their anti-aging routines. 3000 women took part in this poll. The survey also revealed that two in five women spend between 30 and 50 pounds a month on skincare products. A mere seven percent of the respondents said that they were prepared to grow old gracefully and embrace the ageing process without any form of treatment.
